The Valley Spring’s Dual Sport Event began in Ellsworth in 2016. This 100+ miles ride features single track, ATV trail, and 2-track roads for street-legal dual sport motorcycles.
This is an all day event which includes a lunch. We see all types of bikes and riders at our event, from barely street-legal European and Japanese bikes to larger adventure bikes. Our ride is more suitable for bikes under 300 lbs.
There are several creek crossings on the main trail. Many of our hills are several hundred feet high, and we ride them from top to bottom.
NEW for 2027! Ride a sweet 200+ mile ADV route loaded with scenic minimum maintenance roads, water crossings, and gorgeous views. Perfect for any level of ADV rider or adventure tire combination. The ADV route includes optional challenge sections that will give you a taste of 2-track, ATV-style routes. Heads up that 50/50 tires are the recommended minimum.
This ride exists because of the generosity of our landowners. All of the trails are on private property, and none of the trails are open to the public except during this organized event. Approximately 15 landowners allow us to build this course across their land and losing even one of them could have serious consequences for the future of our event. Please respect our landowners and stay on the trail.
